The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 20th, at Tufts University’s Breed Memorial Hall, located at 51 Winthrop Street.

    GLX constructors picked for Green Line design-build contract
    The firm submitted a total contract price of $1,082,118,600, below the Affordability Limit of $1.319 billion, including all six additive options. Today the MBTA Green Line Extension project team held a "price opening" to select the design-build firm that will perform the design and construction for the Green Line Extension.

From our friend Ken Krause: The MBTA has begun the public process of preparing an Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Green Line Extension (GLX) station at Mystic Valley Parkway and Boston Avenue on the Medford/Somerville line. This would extend the Green Line one mile beyond the station being planned at College Avenue and Boston Avenue. A public information meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 20, at Tufts University’s Breed Memorial Hall, 51 Winthrop St., Medford (corner of Boston Avenue).
