    Complete Streets Projects - 2017
    The City of Medford was awarded a grant to implement several high-priority complete streets improvements from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to increase safety and accessibility throughout the City. The City, via site inspections and multiple meetings with stakeholders and with the assistance of transportation and traffic engineering consultants, Toole Design Group, LLC, devised a prioritization plan which contained 20 projects, and which was submitted to the Commonwealth.

    On Tuesday, September 26th at 6:30pm at the Roberts Elementary School Cafeteria, residents and business-owners are invited to attend a community informational session that will review a proposal for a Complete Streets project in Haines Square. The proposed design will make improvements to both pedestrian and vehicular safety and streamline the traffic flow at the intersection of Spring St.
