    Target Seeking Employees for New Medford Store
    Target will celebrate the grand opening of its Medford small-format store on Aug. 19, 2018, and will begin hiring up to 75 team members at events June 21-23, held at the Holiday Inn at 30 Washington St. in Somerville. The Medford store, located at 467 Salem St.

    It Will Soon Cost More to Park at Wellington, Malden, Other Stations
    The MBTA's governing board approved rate increases for parking at several train stations, according to published sources. The rates will go into effect as of August 1. Wellington (Orange Line) will jump from $6 to $9 on weekdays while West Medford (commuter rail) will remain the same.

    New Everett Casino Partnering with North End Restaurateurs
    Encore Boston Harbor has picked two North End restaurant legends-Frank DePasquale and Nick Varano-to operate a 135-seat, 5,200-square-foot Italian restaurant at the five-star, $2.5 billion Encore Boston Harbor Resort. Fratelli (brothers in Italian) is the first local restaurant partnership between DePasquale and Varano and the first locally-operated restaurant at the three-million-square-foot destination resort.

    Cradock Bridge Re-Opens
    Allison Goldsberry The historic Cradock Bridge in Medford Square, under construction for the past few years, is once again open to traffic. The bridge, though small, required extensive careful renovation work due to its age and numerous utilities, which have been relocated to bays and remain out of site, according to Mayor Stephanie M.

    After moving nearly a million tons of soil and sediment on land and water for more than 18 months and spending in excess of $68 million in private funds, Encore Boston Harbor (formerly Wynn Boston Harbor) announced that it has completed final remediation and cleanup work on its 33-acre site in Everett.

    New Orange Line Trains Unveiled at Wellington Station
    MA Governor Charlie Baker was in Medford on Tuesday for the unveiling of new Orange Line cars. According to MassDOT, 152 new cars are joining the Orange Line fleet, completely replacing the previous forty-year-old cars. The first new car should enter passenger service later this year and more trains will follow until all are in service by 2021, according to The Boston Globe .
