Account menu

Looking for something you’ve posted, how to change your EveryBlock email frequency, the places you follow, or anything else to do with your presence on EveryBlock? This tab’s all about You.

This is the account menu. Use it to edit your settings.

Change your username, email address or password

First, click the account menu the top-right corner of the page, then choose “Manage your settings.” You'll land on the "Profile settings" page.

  1. Choose "Manage your settings" from the account tab.
  2. Click the word "change" to edit your settings. To save, click the word "change" again.
Change the type of information you see

You can tailor your EveryBlock to your needs and interests. If you want to change up your news types, just click on the “You” tab in the upper right of any EveryBlock page and select “Manage your settings." Click on "News types" and select or deselect as you please. Don’t forget to click “Save settings” at the bottom of the page when you’re done.

  1. Choose "Manage your settings" from the account menu.
  2. Click on "News types" from the menu on the right or at the top of the screen if you're on a mobile device.
  3. Check the items you'd like to see and uncheck the items you'd like to hide.
Change the frequency of your EveryBlock emails

Click the account menu top-right corner of the page, then choose “Manage your settings.” Click on "Email" on the right side of the page or at the top of the page if you're on a mobile device. Use the dropdown menu under “local digest” to change the frequency of the email digests from your followed places. Check or uncheck the boxes for the various types of email you do or don’t want to receive.

  1. Choose "Manage your settings" from the account menu.
  2. Click on "Email" from the menu on the right or at the top of the screen if you're on a mobile device.
  3. Once on the page, the first option is to change how often you receive the digest. Use the dropdown to pick daily, weekly, or never.
Find your comments or neighbor messages

Select the account tab in the top-right corner of the page. Scroll down to the third section of the drop-down menu and choose "Posts” or "Comments.”

  1. Select "Posts" or "Comments" from the account tab.
  2. From here, you can see all of your posts or comments chronologically. Notice you can also switch between posts and comments via the navigation on the right.
Delete your EveryBlock account

Click the account menu in the top-right corner of the page, then choose “Manage your settings.” Click “Deactivate your account” at the bottom of the page. Please take a second to let us know why you’re leaving.

  1. Select "Manage your settings" from the account tab.
  2. Use the link at the bottom of the Manage Profile page to deactivate your account.
